Hello. My name is Dan and I live in Michigan and have been bird hunting for about 20 years. I've never owned a bird dog but I think it's time. (I'm tired of depending on my buddies with dogs to go hunting) I would be hunting mainly grouse and an annual trip to SD for pheasant. In my free time I enjoy my girlfriend! Not sure if I want to get into trials but it's a definite possibility. Thanks for letting me join.

Dan

Welcome Dan! My fiance is from Michigan....Roseville. Her family has property up North.

I have learned "Up North" is anywhere not in a city. They call it Pop....Love their sports teams, and love to go to the lake. :D Maybe these are just sayings in her neck of the woods.

Welcome Dan! Hope you enjoy the forum. What kind of dog are you thinking of getting?
Peace, it's what's for dinner!
