Newbie signing in. I've been dogless for about 5 years after moving into a "senior" apartment with a no pet rule. In the past I've owned an English Setter, a Brittany Spaniel from rescue and a German Wirehaired Pointer from rescue. I was lucky getting these dogs. The 10 yr old setter was given to me by a friend, great dog with lots of experience, The 5 yr old Brittany I got from rescue as a pet turned out to be a hunter and the 3 yr old GWP was broke in no time.
Now out of apartment looking for a new companion with opening season less than a month away. Thanks for your time and future knowledge.
