New from Northwest Iowa

We recently rescued a dog for a family pet, but may have inadvertently found myself a hunting partner. He appears to be a GSP mix, around 1 year old. He's been in the shelter since July. He is very friendly, seems smart and learns very quickly. We have broken him of his bad kennel habits (jumping, barking, chewing) and have a pretty good start on sit, stay, heel (and we're working on come). Being new to owning a dog, my searches on Google frequently led me to this forum , so I figured I would join up and participate. Here are a few pictures of Commander Cody...
