Hey guys! I am new here and just got my first gun dog, a 5 month old GSP. I'm just looking for local guys who have done this a while to maybe learn from and do a little training perhaps. It all seems so overwhelming with so much to learn. I just bought my first book "Training with Mo". Tried adding a pic of my pup but it kept turning it sideways. Anyway, just wanted to say hi and look forward to learning from you guys. Thanks.

good choice on training with Mo, it is good one, I also like perfect start and finish for dvds they are a different method then Mo's, but are very well put together

There was an active QF chapter in Melville, just up the road from you. The chapter president has a GSP and he's a great guy - Grant Cannatella. You ought to give him a call, he has places to work dogs!
