Hello everyone! My name is Ed and I currently live in South Florida (Fort Lauderdale area). I'm originally from England and grew up chasing pheasants back home, but obviously not so many of them down here so slowly getting into duck hunting. I've been in the US for about 9 years now, 4 years in South Carolina (Go Gamecocks!) and then down to Florida for law school.
I have one pointer, Jeffrey, who's coming up on two years old. My wife and got him as a rescue when he was about 6 months old so obviously not sure of his pedigree. That being said, he seems birdy and is taking to training pretty well! It's my first time training a gun dog so it's a bit of a learning experience for both of us!
Looking forward to learning from this forum and hopefully being able to contribute at times. Are there many other members from South Florida on the forums?
