Howdy From Northern Mn

Post by gunflint » Thu Sep 04, 2014 11:51 am

After over 10 years of hanging up my guns and concentrating on walleyes the purchase of a new English Setter and the need for more time in the woods has brought me here. I stumbled on the Hall of Fame thread about do-overs and I decided to register. It's been a couple of decades since I've attempted to train a dog to hunt and that didn't work out real well. Let's just say that as I've aged I've realized I don't know everything and I'm not too proud to admit it. I'm excited to get back in the game and I look forward to learning from this site.

I was canoeing on the boundary waters in 1965, we were out 8 days, one of the bigger lakes we crossed was Gunflint. Is that where your handle came from?
If the dogs make you nervous, I can shut you in the back room.
