Hi I live 20 miles north of Pittsburgh. Grew up hunting with 2 english setters but its been close to 15 years since my dads dogs were stolen and small game hunting hasn't been the same since. Well I have a deposit on Winnen Brittany and cant wait to get started. Hope to learn a lot from this site.

Good luck with the new pup. I moved to Michigan from around the Mars, PA area quite some time ago. Most of my family still lives down that way. Love and miss those old hills.

That face :D

I sympathize completely. The last couple weeks are the worst. I just got Sassy a week ago, and the couple weeks between the breeders calling me to tell me her and her litter mates passed the final vet check and my turn to pick was pure murder.

All better now though 8)

I have 2 Brittanys from Winnens and they are both great. The 3 year old is doing very well on grouse and the 8 month old is still a pup and learning. Have a great time with him

I know what you mean. I had a dog stolen never to be seen again. You never totally get over that.
