Hello,
My name is Jordan and im form Houston TX. Iv recently purchased a female GSP for the purpose of retrieving dove & maybe duck But also to have an everyday fun dog to have around. The reason I signed up to the forum is to ask questions and seek advice on training methods.
My GSP has just turned six months old and her name is Roxy. She can defiantly be a handful at times and has a mind of her own. She suffers form some separation anxiety when I go into the house and I make her stay outside, but when were together she's off being a normal pup. For some reason shes not much of a retriever, I can get about 5 or 6 good retrieves out of her but she usually gets distracted on the sixth throw by birds, smells or sounds.
