Hello all from Northwest Indiana!

Hello again just thought I'd drop by and introduce myself. I've been lurking around the forums for quite some time and figured it was about time to join. My name is Phil I'm located in Northwest Indiana new to gun dogs but not new to dogs. For the last 4-5 seasons I've really gotten into upland game and have been waiting for the right time for a dog or in the case now dogs. Ive been a two dog house my whole life and recently moved out of the folks house. The fiancé and I just got two GSP pups. One male and a female they are three weeks so we won't have them for another 4-5. I've been doing a ton of reading and homework and I'm a bit overwhelmed on where to start with them when they get home. We have plenty of time to work with each dog individually daily and a rather large house and yard to begin training. Also I have a family farm 200+ acres to work with them down the road. Just looking forward to some guidance and advice as we start this new exciting adventure! Thanks all!

For the first little bit, love them. It's going to be rough with two pups at the same time, but also double the pleasure (I'm a father of twins). Time for training will come. Learning their name, here and whoa are key at first. Plus, indoor behavior.

Thanks! We got the date last night and it looks like November 16th they get to come home. I'm not sure who's more excited us or everyone asking to come visit when they get home.
