New guy ...... new pup

New guy here from PA ...... late forties ....... new pup ..... Drahthaar........ 10 weeks and a few days old ....... joined the forum to aid in my training of this new pup ....... been 15 years since I raised a pup ...... hoping to have my boys gun over a good steady dog like I did as a youngster ....... she's got a great nose so far on our short walks hoping to hone in on her natural abilities and learn along the way

Thanks Grant ....... yes it should be a barrel load of fun ........ we're already excited for the fall ....... she's a keeper for sure ...... always got her nose on the ground and seems to find all my wing drags and hides so far in these early stages of getting her out on strolls ...... we are having a very mild winter and the ticks are horrendous though ...... it's the only thing that drives me crazy taking her on daily walks afield
