Hi from TX

Hey guys, Lindsey here from TX.

I never figured myself for an upland bird hunter. I love hunting big game and am not so handy with a shotgun. However, quail hunting is a passion of my bf's so it's been an introduction by forced immersion and I'm honestly hooked. I love watching the dogs work and getting out and walking is a nice change of pace. We spend WAY too much time stuck in a deer blind in TX and I much prefer a spot and stalk approach but that's not practical in most places we hunt.

Bf has pointers and a drath. One day I'll probably get a dog of my own. Probably sooner rather than later regardless of logic. He has a young female pointer that is pretty spectacular so if I can talk him into breeding her I'd want one of her pups.

Anyway, here to learn as much as I can and have ya'll as a resource if and when I do decide to get a dog of my own.
