Because I cannot control the attributes of remote avatars, I have disabled them. Feel free to upload your avatars through your profiles, and I'm sorry to those that have their remote avatars disabled. If you need help resizing your image for an avatar, just let me know.
More specifically, I cannot control the image size of a remote avatar. A avatar that is too large causes users with slow connections to wait a long time for the page to load....
