Hello all, new member from NE Wisconsin. New to the forum, but not gun dogs. Started out with a Golden Retriever many years back. For the last decade I have had two Springer's. One an amazing hunter who is still around. Her hunting days are past her at almost 13. She is deaf and doesn't see too well or move the greatest. My younger Springer passed a few months ago at 10 from acute pancreatitis. I thought I was done, but at 50 I decided to go back at it full bore. Our Golden Retriever puppy was born 3 days ago and I can't wait to get started with him when we get him home. Look forward to learning a few things from all of you.

Game farm hunts and some trips to North Dakota for duck, goose, and pheasant.
I'm sure it will be much of the same. Reading up on hunt tests, etc. Thinking of doing that with this pup as well.
