Sup everyone,
I am new here. Based in Vancouver, love to go hunting with my dad
We have a 2-year-old malamute, name's Duke
not really a hunting dog, huh, still he's a very cute boy, extremely smart, so I'm looking for tips to train him as much as I can :)

When I was a kid a buddy had a husky that loved to retrieve - but he was more than a little hard mouthed. But he sure was good at fetching shot muskrats and beaver - he would never back down even on ones that were chewing his lip as he brought them in.

Welcome to the forum. Malamute, retrieve an elk and then tow it down the mountain in a sled. Sounds like a good deal to me. :D
