Howdy everyone
We are adventuring into blood tracking and purchased our first Bloodhound.
We lost our 8 year old boxer 6 weeks ago to a sudden illness. And our 7 year old lab, Toby, has been depressed since our Maggie passed away.

So we decided he needed a new friend and we needed a reason to spend more time outdoors and learning new skills.
Athena is now 8 weeks old and has adjusted to her new home among the 4 cats, Toby and the 14 chickens.
Yes 14 chickens raised by hand in the house to soon be released to the homestead after I get the coop finished. Don't worry, they are in a huge bird cage. They do not have their freedom yet.

Athena, the bloodhound, has been an awesome puppy and has been the easiest puppy we have ever potty trained. She has changed so much in just the last couple days.
I will be here lurking, reading and learning. ImageImage

Thanks everyone for the welcome.
She hasn't started barking yet.
But she has a lot of spunk and has already learned to sit.
