Gun Dog Forum

Good day. I stumbled across this forum while doing some gundog research. I am a Professional Hunter in South Africa, hunting plains and dangerous game. After doing my homework, I decided on a Bavarian Mountain Hound female to help me on my hunts. I was lucky enough to find a beautiful girl named Amber. She's doing really well with her training and will probably get exposed to real life hunting at the end of the month. She's 9 months old now.

Thanks for allowing me on the forum. I'm eager to learn more as this is my first gundog, and to contribute as well.

Nice to see you here. I have spent a great deal of time in South Africa and believe it to be the most beautiful country in the world, factoring in the relative size. Please let us know how your dog progresses and feel free to post pictures as well. What do you plan on hunting with her?
