Hey all, just thought I'd say hi quick. Been lurking for a while but thought I'd finally join. Been working with my year and a half old yellow/red lab, a pointing lab out of Iowa Pointing Kennelse named Rocky. Had him on pheasants last year towards the end of the season and working on some rock solid points. Been working hard all summer and getting fired up for pheasants. Had him on him first waterfowl with geese two weeks ago, still bit of a work in progress getting him to grab those big birds on the water, but after working with him for a bit he got it figured out.
Taking a trip up to SD in about a month also.
Formerly had a Chesapeake Bay Retriever that was a heck of a duck dog along with several other labs in the past, so not new to the gun dog world, just new to the forum. Thanks for having me.
