New guy checking in>

Hello everyone,

I am new to the forums. I do not have a dog yet, but after browsing the site a few times I decided to join because of all the useful information this site seems to have.

Once I move, and we gain some more space I am going to get a German Shorthair Pointer. I have been doing a good bit of research on this breed, and I believe it is the wright dog for our family. I am married and have a daughter That will be 4 years old in a few months. My wifes family had a GSP when she was a young girl, and she is excited about getting another Shorthair.

I have gone bird hunting behind a friend of mine's dogs (springer spaniels) and there is no better experience in my opinion. I am looking forward to learning and getting advice from the experienced people on this site.
