We had thoroughbreds for racing, I put halters on them 3 weeks old, added a tow line to drag. They became acclimated to the lead this way as they stepped on that lead, taught them to give to the lead. At the age this pony is they already were acclimated to bridle and saddle. Trained up over 50 horses, this way I used is way easier and I don't talk so much :)

But he is a paid trainer, I worked for my Dad. Long hours low pay lol
