Post by Ruffshooter » Tue Dec 14, 2010 6:54 am

Why do I have an ad and post from the contest in my inbox?

We're used to announcements of new posts coming to our "regular" e-mail addresses outside of the forum. I'm sure Rob wanted everyone to be aware there was a contest & he used the "inside the forum" mail system. If you're into the forum on a daily basis, what's the difference? However, personally I'm in my "regular" mailbox way more often than I'm on the forum.

Only 20 or so more entries to go!

I used PMs instead of hitting the mailing list because I wasn't sure if folks wanted to get updates via EMAIL (edited).

BTW, I bumped the PM count from 50 up to 500 because my mailbox was 90% full in less than 2 days...
