Contacted someone about some pigeons for sale and they texted that they had “raisin pigeons, Johnson 720, and Turkish tumblers”
??? I know what Turkish tumblers are and don’t want those but what are the other two?

Re: Raisin pigeons?
Id imagine the "raisin" would be "racing" and the "Johnson" would be "Janssen" bloodlines. Just either auto-correct or misinterpretation errors.

I'd jump on some of those raisin pigeons. Mighty rare.

Most likely!
Re: Raisin pigeons?
I had to look up rasin pigeons. Seem's they are just homer's. Little secret about homer's. Unless your training a long way from home, like 40+ mi, ferals will do the same thing homer's will do, their wilder birds and smaller and easier to work with. They are fairly easy to catch too if you know where some roost.
I pity the man that has never been loved by a dog!
