Nothing to add in dog stories at this time !Lazy afternoon in upstate NY. We were just outside and it was 23 and blowing.
Popped in just now in hopes of finding someone posting up their adventures ! If anyone has any tales to tell ~ cut loose

I've tried to take Whip along ice fishing but he's just too high strung. He doesn't know why we're out on a lake with no birds around and he just won't chill in the ice hut. I even tried bringing his bed.

....he just has to stay home with mom! Then he has to get through golf season before it's bird time again.

Best to everyone in 2025~

I can relate! I did have a Lab one time that would retrieve my golf balls. She could mark the ball down in the pasture to 160 yards. If I hit a 7 iron it just took her too long to find it - I was too high strung for that!

All the best for 2025 and hoping you all find something to do with the dogs in the 'tween times.

Grim end of year dogwise as I lost a beloved dog. We have been all been through it. But I will find a new friend this year. Wishing us all -- including our dogs-- an excellent 2025.
