Grouse druming

Got a brainstorm the other morning to see if I could find the log this grouse was sitting on & druming . Max & I set out with trail camera in hand found some locations & max liked this log the most. So I set up & checked it the next day to find 11 trips & pic's.

I went out Saturday early morning to a sage grouse lek just north of town. It is one of my rites of spring. There were 42 of the boys out there just booming away. That is the most I've seen out on that lek.

That is what I thought too - or are there a bunch of amateurs shooting with $7000 lenses?

Folks have been know to spend tons of cash on hobbies, I use to like photography back in the day, and those shots are making me reconsider the idea that I am getting a new shotgun this year.
