Walking dead and Game of thrones

I liked that show but they killed off the two best and most interesting characters IMO. The barbarian king that got sick and the king that got be-headed.whatsnext wrote:Game of thrones

I forgot about Big Bang Theory, that show cracks me up!
Re: Your Favorite TV Shows
I reading the books right now and they're super good, but it can be frustrating at times because the author isn't afraid to just kill off one of the favorite characters. It realistic but frustrating. If you think those two killing are frustrating just wait because it'll only get worse. Great books though.Ron R wrote:I liked that show but they killed off the two best and most interesting characters IMO. Axe men use to be my favorite till it got scripted... Now it's wicked tuna, big bang theory, and any Seinfeld episode still cracks me up.

I agree they killed off some main characters in a hurry .Ron R wrote:I liked that show but they killed off the two best and most interesting characters IMO. The barbarian king that got sick and the king that got be-headed.whatsnext wrote:Game of thrones
Re: Your Favorite TV Shows
I was looking forward to them going to war. They were also the two top bad a$$es. Everybody else looked like a bunch of punks compaired to them. After the first season ended I could care less about season 2.whatsnext wrote:I agree they killed off some main characters in a hurry .Ron R wrote:I liked that show but they killed off the two best and most interesting characters IMO. Justified, Game of thrones, Spartacus, Big Bang Theory, Criminal Minds, NCIS, Duck Dynasty, The walking Dead, Ultimate Fighter, I watch Nurse Jackie with my wife. She is a nurse and wishes that she could say half of that stuff to the patients in the ER. I get more of a kick watching her than I do watching the show. We had shirts made up for her ER staff, It says " My job is to save your "bleep", not Kiss it." She wears it all the time.
She says spartacus is my soft porn. She refuses to watch it with me. I haven't found anything soft about it yet.

I'm a fan of:
True Blood
The Walking Dead
Modern Family
Suburgatory
The Ultimate Fighter although I haven't been in love with this season
And I just started watching America's Got Talent but only because I am a Howard Stern Superfan.

Re: Your Favorite TV Shows
I can't watch any of the fictitious stuff anymore. It just seems to be the same thing with a different cast. And the reality shows... well, that's just a contradiction in terms. They're anything BUT reality and the whole thing is staged.
I like practical shows, like you'd see on Discovery or DIY network, but mostly just watch movies. The Biscuit Eater, Footloose (the good one, not that piece of junk remake), The Quiet Man, Vision Quest, Dead Poets Society, Godfather. Love classics and hate plotless action flicks. Also, Casablanca was the biggest piece of junk anyone ever put on film.

Re: Your Favorite TV Shows
I'm about the same, I did watch Shameless and Eastbound and Down every week though, How I Met Your Mother is a good show too. Any other time it is KU or KC sports, the outdoor or sportsman channel, along with the informative channels.birddogger wrote:Sounds like we feel pretty much the same way about TV.Stoneface wrote:I can't watch any of the fictitious stuff anymore.
