DougB never thought about that side of it. The school system has a new rule instated recently that all school system employees must be fingerprinted from the lowliest janitor all the way up to the superintendent every year in my area. I work at the sheriffs office and we use a $50,000 electronic fingerprinting machine to do all of the fingerprints. We have had so many subs and school system employees coming in we had to start charging $25 per person whereas it used to be free. We did not do it to start making money we did it hoping it would decrease the number of people coming in per day. It did not. I guess it is easier to have one teacher doing lesson plans and handing them out to 5 subs who basically babysit the class and assign them their lessons. Interesting. Darn sure a scam on the local and county taxpayers but interesting nonetheless. How long will it be before illegal immigrants will be getting these jobs I wonder.
