Uploading picture from a Mac

Does anyone know how to upload a picture from a Mac? I have tried going to the avatar, selecting my image, it ask to enter the url(is that the address that's above), I hit submit and I don't see anything. Does it take a couple of hours until someone approves it?

URL is a web location, like if you have a picture on facebook or one of the free picture places (sorry I cant think of any off the top of my head). I am sure that you can google "free picture websites" and you will find one. Then all you need to do is copy the URL and paste it in the correct spot and it should work instantly.

When you are posting the reply look under the entry box and you will see a button for "upload attachment" . There you can browse your computer for the picture file you want and attach it to the post with "add the file".
