BANK OF AMERICA

Post by Ms. Cage » Sun Oct 07, 2012 9:14 am

Owers of McMillan MFG. in Phoenix - rifle makers

Don't use and Cancel you BOA card now. They are the most dishonest card out there

BOA was one of the banks "bailed out" by Obama's administration.

It's started.

McMillan has been a customer and produces rifles for our Military Snipers.

This is happening all around us and we are allowing this socialist government to keep growing. McMillian Mfg in Phoenix, Arizona, was contacted by Bank of America and informed that they will no longer be allowed to use their services ( Bank of America ) because they are in the firearms business and support the second amendment.

I am fine with you re-posting it. Thanks for your support.

McMillan Fiberglass Stocks, McMillan Firearms Manufacturing, McMillan Group International have been collectively banking with Bank of America for 12 years. Today Mr. Ray Fox, Senior Vice President, Market Manager, Business Banking, Global Commercial Banking (Bank of America) came to my office. He scheduled the meeting as an "account analysis" meeting in order to evaluate the two lines of credit we have with them. He spent 5 minutes talking about how McMillan has changed in the last 5 years and have become more of a firearms manufacturer than a supplier of accessories. At this point I interrupted him and asked "Can I possibly save you some time so that you don't waste your breath? What you are going to tell me is that because we are in the firearms manufacturing business you no longer want my business."

"That is correct", he says. I replied "That is okay, we will move our accounts as soon as possible. We can find a 2nd Amendment friendly bank that will be glad to have our business. You won't mind if I tell the NRA, SCI and everyone one I know that BofA is not firearms-industry friendly?" "You have to do what you must", he said. "So you are telling me this is a politically motivated decision, is that right?" Mr. Fox confirmed that it was. At which point I told him that the meeting was over and there was nothing left for him to say.

I think it is important for all Americans who believe in and support our 2nd amendment "right to keep and bear arms" should know when a business does not support these rights. What you do with that knowledge is up to you. When I don't agree with a business' political position, I cannot, in good Conscience support them. We will soon no longer be accepting Bank of America credit cards as payment for our products,

BOA has been involved in several very contraversial arenas in the past several years and always on the wrong side. I dropped any contact with them 2 or 3 years ago and have tried to spread the word.

That is interesting. I am no BofA supporter... there customer service has sucked for years. However, they are the bank that Bass Pro Shops runs their credit cards through. I wonder if that will change? I also wonder if our Big Government Pres had something to do with that.... Conspiracy theory maybe but it wouldn't be the first time.

Along those lines, for those who do not have a Cabelas Visa card, they are among some of the nicest folks you could ever hope to deal with.

And have been doing it for years. I think it was in 2002 that they got involved and decided they wouldn't support anyone that was connected with guns or hunting.

I have had a run in with their mortage department. They would not communicate with me and tried to starve me out for nearly a year following a house fire. Seems they never paid the insurance policy out of of the escrow account. I ended up getting an attorney and a year and a half later they settled right before our court date. I came out of it well.

Here's some more stuff I dug up on them

The Animal Agriculture Alliance has come out strongly against Bank of America’s newest product offering – a Bank of America VISA that supports the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS).

The Alliance says this new credit card provides the radical animal rights organization with $60 for every new account opened and an additional 25 cents for every $100 spent.

In a letter to Bank of America President and CEO Brian Moynihan, Alliance CEO Kay Johnson Smith says, “HSUS is a radical animal rights organization that is not affiliated with local animal shelters and instead uses its more than $100 million budget to threaten America’s hardworking farmers and ranchers. While many Americans mistakenly believe HSUS is the national organization affiliated with local animal shelters, very little of its funding is used for hands-on animal care. Instead, HSUS uses its resources to attack farmers and ranchers with legislation, litigation, and public relations smear campaigns.”

Johnson Smith goes on to suggest that the Alliance, which has been a Bank of America customer for over two decades, may reconsider its relationship with the bank, and will suggest that its members do the same.

The Alliance encourages those in the animal agriculture community to voice their opinions to Bank of America about their HSUS support by either writing to Bank of America, tweeting about it or sending comments to Bank of America’s Facebook page.

Ag campaigns can work This isn’t the first time a large corporation has supported HSUS and has received industry backlash in the process. Who can forget in 2010 rancher Troy Hadrick’s infamous YouTube video showing him dumping out a bottle of [yellow tail] wine while standing out in front of his cows, because the winemaker’s parent company gave a large donation to HSUS?

Spurred on by Hadrick’s actions, the Ag Alliance and many ag organizations and individuals bombarded the [yellow tail] parent company, W.J. Deutsch, resulting in the company vowing to stop further support of HSUS.

This is all good to know thanks
. Its really bad to hear that a bank that was founded on this country would turn its back on the constitution .

What's the connection between a business being anti-gun and the government?

BOA was bailed out by our government. It has been operating on our dollar.

Thank You ezzy

A little off topic!! If you look at GM and Chrysler Dealerships that donated to the DFl are still operating . Those that donated GOP were closed. I forget the article but a gentleman that owned multible dealerships split donation DFL and GOP. Those dealerships of his donating to the DFL are still operating and those that he owned donating GOP were closed on the goernment bail out.

Ah..didn't realize they were part of the bail out. Have BOA paid back the bail out money yet like some of the others?

I canned BoA about 12 years ago for USAA.

If you are a veteran you can't go wrong with USAA IMO.

My nephew did time there :) USMC he is home now. Hope you get back OK too.

I for one do not have any credit cards, tis the mark of thee devil I must say...credit is a bad thing if misused. I save up and pay cash. Every vehicle I own is paid for. Only credit I have is mortgage.

BOA and GM etc were restructured same as a bankruptcy only we the public got to fund it.

2 party system is there to keep good people divided cause if we all got together and come to one same conclusion things would actually change and the politicos do not want that to happen. Each party has done note one thing to reduce govt spending, both are bad. I say elect me king and I will make some fine changes. Extend hunting season, open more land to hunters and their dogs. Run anti folks out, I would give em their own little piece of land they could do as they wished, upper tip of ALaska....

Something seems strange about this post. Bank of America is the credit card sponser for the Bass Pro Shop credit cards which obviously is in the buisness of selling firearms.
