Did a little fishin'

Thought id share, caught a decent crappie and catfish today in a small pond.
Not huge, but its the biggest of either i've ever caught.

Thanks for the suggestions Rod.....have had plenty of Bluegill, no Brook Trout.

Good job! Crappie ( white perch) are some fine eating for sure. I've been catching some nice bluegill and shellcracker the past 2 weeks.

I love catchin all fish, walleye is my favorite to eat though. I hear perch is good but ive never eaten one.

Looks like a good time. I'm mostly a musky and northern pike guy myself but I dabble in walleye and bass as well.

I work with trout and their habitat all week. But when it comes to fishing on the weekends, it's crappie, bluegills, perch. Hook and cook not catch and release.

Just keep getting a line wet as often as you can and the big ones will come in time....those are nice fish, keep it up!

No not these, i hate cleaning fish when you only have a few, doesn't make a meal.
We've been out on the boat,though and had a great fish fry out of that, Delicious
