That sucks!!! I bought coopers because they were a US company. Hope they keep their quality up.

That's too bad. All the passenger vehicles you here on the farm have cooper AT3s on them and we have been pretty happy with them. I guess I better start looking elsewhere when I need tires this fall.

A limit on the strap is nice, but the kill has nothing to do with tradition.

That's too bad.

But once a company goes public they are open for takeovers and mergers from anyone in the world. Cooper has 5 of its 9 plants overseas, including China, Serbia, Mexico etc.. So they were an international player already. I think Carlisle is the only national brand left.

I've been buying coopers for 10 years. Like someone else mentioned I probably will continue if the quality is still there.

Gentleman it seems to be the way of the world. where I work they have out serviced our tech support and it is a little frustrating when you cant understand the person on the other end of the phone. as for cooper I hope they don't change the quality I just had a set of coopers on my wifes van and we got around 70,000 miles on them. The good year rep I deal with promised me that plus a few for a better price so we will see if he is correct otherwise next set will be coopers again.

I used to buy Coopers, quit because I found something I got better reviews of.

I shop quality, not country of ownership/manufacturing.
I have English Pointers because they don't ever grow up either...
