Okay, and this has to do with what exactly?

Let me guess, you are a marijuana supporter.

I shoulda put this in the Off Topic Forum -- clicked the wrong button.
My post was just an observation and comment -- nothing more, nothing less.

It all makes sense, now. Gay marriage and marijuana are being legalized at the same time. Leviticus 20:13 says, if a man lays down with another man, he should be stoned. WE WERE JUST MISINTERPRETING THIS!!!

With a Washington and Colorado team in the game there may be many "super bowl" parties for the SuperBowl game :D

How do hunters feel about this legal pot stuff? Will some hunters go out stoned and shoot my dog accidently?

Will some hunters drink too much and shoot your dog ?
Doobie puffers will probably be too laid back to even want to hunt. They'll be too busy eating Doritos to get off the couch.

I agree, I would rather have someone who is stoned out in the field then someone who has been drinking.

The Indians used to smoke peyote and they were good hunters. But I'm with you pastor, I wouldn't want to hunt with any pot smokers either but I do enjoy some spirits and good conversation back at hunting camp after a hard days hunt...

They didn't smoke peyote -- they ate it.
It is still legal in a certain Native American church -- I *think* in AZ.

They did eat it and also made a tea like drink from it. Interesting ritual..

This should be legalized all over the US. And Im sure it will someday. Im sure thats another topic and one that could be heated.

As for hunting with someone high...theres a difference between taking a puff or two off a joint and getting completely stoned. I really dont want to hunt with a person who does either. Id just prefer someone have a clear mind when hunting.

Outside of hunting, Id rather be in the company of a stoner than an alcoholic or heavy drinker. Alcohol poisons the body and mind, thc does not.

I guess it depends on who you ask. In my own opinion a little of either wont really hurt anyone but from what I have read a small amount of alcohol, say 2 drinks a day especially red wine would be better then smoking pot at least where health is of concern. On the flip side there does seem to be some medicinal properties from marijuana that may be of help to some people as well. But, "Red Red wine does make you feel fine". :D

whatever people do in their home is their business between them & God.

I just don't want to get shot accidentally, nor would I want my dog to be injured.

Alcohol & sports like hunting, snowmobiling, etc are a DANGEROUS combination. When I lived in N Michigan, we would have people from southern MI come up to ride sleds, & hunt every year, & their would ALWAYS be alcohol relocated fatalities.

No Thank You

Well you cant, they are both dead these man yyears. Back in the day a man would have a sip or two or the hooch, didnt get drunk or wasted. Just a tummy warmer.

I was a kid, didnt have a say in who I hunted with, Dad said lets go and we went. Life was very different back then. Wasnt so govt regulated and everything fun is bad like folks see it today.

Funny thing pastor, Jesus turned water into wine age 12 at the bidding of his mom. So I say if it is OK for Jesus its OK for me altho I hardly ever drink.

I seen folks get wasted completly with 2 hits off a joint, some weed is very potent, some wont do anything for ya. I feel it is best left till after the hunt. And I do take a swig off the bottle after the deer hunt during the butchering. Not enough to lite me up tho.

Now if it made legal here I will try to get up a greenhouse and make a few bucks off them folks. :)

Two States Legalize Pot and Both are Going to the SuperBowl

Post by Pastor Brown » Tue Jan 28, 2014 12:45 am

Well The Bible states clearly the difference between wine & strong drink. Wine is a juice of the vine, much like our grape juice. And the marriage at Cana would have been when he was 30.

Before I accepted Christ as my savior, I was a drug dealer in metro detroit. I never grew up in church, & am well aware of the effects of drugs & alcohol.

I went hunting with my dad & his stoner friends growing up, & while none of us ever got shot, I do recall when my dad's friend accidentally shot & killed his own dog pepper.

These are my experiences
