Interesting but not to worry, no one wants to take your guns so why worry about registration?

It's not how many breaths you have taken but how many times it has been taken away!
Has anyone noticed common sense isn't very common anymore.

Certainly learned in Canada that registration of non restricted guns was expensive and ineffective. Law got changed back in 2012.

When you die , a family member with a possession and acquisition license, ( PAL) takes your gun home.
Restricted weapons/handguns have strict rules here:

Concealed weapons are in the hands of criminals here.

I'm sorry, but I don't agree that Canadians "need" to be able to carry concealed weapons. My job in Ontario required me to go into some of the worst areas of Toronto, and I never carried a handgun. Nor did I ever feel the need to do so.Sharon wrote:Certainly learned in Canada that registration of non restricted guns was expensive and ineffective. Law got changed back in 2012.

There is a huge difference between Canadian & US culture. Just bear that in mind during this discussion.
