A Day To Be Thankful

Post by Sharon » Sat Apr 02, 2022 4:26 pm

Just enjoyed a wonderful day out at the ponds and woods with my dog. ( Can't hunt anymore.) Never thought we would be able to do that this Spring as I have Parkinson's Disease and the dog has cancer and had a TPLO last Fall. Saw two pair of Ring Necked ducks . Some days you have to remember to be thankful.

Sounds like you had a nice day !
Axe and I were out today and I remember looking up into the beautiful blue sky after a ruffed flushed in front of Axe's point and saying Thank You !

“Youth is wasted on the young.” Understanding this quote, more and more with every passing year.

So you finally shoveled your way out of the snow?

When you start to realize you won't be here forever, every day is a day to be thankful for.
Hope we all have a lot more.......Cj

Bless you Sharon and may he also bless your dog. Old age ain't for the faint of heart, that's for sure. I didn't realize you had Parkinsons. Terrible disease.

There's always so much to be thankful for if we just think about it. Loved ones, life, faith... the fact that no matter how long the winter, spring always comes... the list goes on. The Lord showers us with so many blessings but sometimes we take them for granted. I wish you the best up there, Sharon! Hope we have many more years to enjoy you. :)
