Beautiful 1-year old GSP:

Post by Brian Holmquist » Sun Jun 03, 2018 2:21 pm

We live in Pennsylvania. Last June, we purchased a GSP 8 week old puppy from a reputable breeder. Here is some information on Sparky:

-High drive and enthusiastic about birds
-Powerful and athletic
-With very little training, she shows much potential as blood tracking dog
-Super friendly
-Would die before she bit somebody
-Crate trained
-In perfect health
-Up to date on all shots/ vaccines
-She is AKC-registered
-Not fixed (and obviously never impregnated)
-Obeys basic commands (sits, stays, releases, lays down)
-Instinctively knows what to do when she hears gun fire

As you can see, she has an extremely good hunting pedigree.

The logical question to ask is why we would sell such an exceptional dog? We as a family will be moving from PA to a smaller setting in MO and we feel it is only right to find a more suitable living condition for Sparky so she can continue to live a full life. Our preference is to find a hunting/ active/ loving family to continue providing a loving environment for Sparky.

If you are interested in providing a loving home for Sparky, contact me at baholmquist@yahoo.com or (717) 344-7115 for additional information and pictures.

Thanks,
Brian

How much are you asking for the dog? I'm not able to take it at this time....but I'm trying to get my brother in law / neighbor to get a dog, and a 1 year old with some training started would be perfect. I don't know if he's ready yet....but I'll make a push! We're 1/2 hour north of Pgh.

You might want to post a picture of the pedigree. So people know what you've got.
