Head Shots

Post by 12 Volt Man » Sat May 21, 2005 9:46 am

Nope this thread isn't about what you thought. :D

I am still trying to master my Camera. This morning, I decided to see how it worked with some close head shots. I edited them a little with photo shop afterwards.

Cooper is still the photogenic one. He likes to stop and get his picture taken. Cowboy is full throttle all the time, so I never get any good shots of him.

Anyway............here they are.

I like the third one best, except that Coop's ear is flopped wierd.

nice photo's
I like the 1st and 4th pictures. nothing to distract from the dog's head. also we all read a photo like we read a book left to right.
wow I need to get back into photography it's been 33 years since I took it in high school.

Thet are great shots! My favorites are the 1st and 3rd. I agree with llewgor, pictures have a tendency of going left to right.

Don't know if you'd consider this a "headshot" its more like an upperbody shot but its close enough

I agree with llewgor on all counts!

Man, I never get any good head shots of Justus. I guess he's like Cowboy.. full throttle all the time. If I bend down to snap a shot at his eye level, I end up with a face full of doggy-licks.

Contest?!?

Ok, I'll go ahead and post the winning shot. It's a little blurry, but I'm sure I can get some sympathy
with the nature of the shot and how hard it was to get.
