Thanks for the info.I just picked up a set the news that has most of the copies from 1961 thru 1995.really good reading...vern

I used to suscribe to the chronicle, I liked it but I need a hard copy.

If you go to that website and select "current ads" you'll see nothing has been updated since '05. The magazine is out of print, and stopped rather abruptly (i.e. they were still taking subscription and ad revenues). The magazine is dead and has been for a number of years.

We may have to talk at some point, as there are some attempts to get stuff like that scanned and digitized.

Before the parent club started the Shorthair mag.,the GSP news was the bible.After the GSP news changed hands,it turned into a show mag. and I quit taking it.I saw a couple of the Shorthair Mags and they looked like a show catalog too....vern

The news was great when Shirley Carlson was the editor. I probably have some of the old issues.

It was a great publication when Shirley had it, I have tubs of old issues, I think I kept every one I got.(pac-rat) I like the Chronicle but hard to get with dial-up. I recently joined GWPCA and was so impressed with that publication, Shorthair Journal sucks next to it. Wish SJ would take some lessons from Wire News!
