Dogs eyes and grass seeds...

Was curious on the tricks others use to help keep grass seeds out of their dogs eyes. Poor Dutchess had 2 seeds up under her right eye lids when we got home this morning. Got the seeds out, flushed eyes with "eye clear". She has continued to sneeze like she may have something stuck in her nose, have looked, didnt see anything.

What do others do to keep the grass seeds outa the eyes?

We have a real problem with that in this part of the country. About all you can do is flush their eyes. I buy the cheap saline at the dollar store.

if she keep sneezing you will have to have avet look p there with a fiber optic.

I flush my dogs eyes with visine after maually cleaning the seeds out before putting them back in the truck box, if you place your thumb below their eyelid and gently pull down you can usaully see anything, seeds will stick to a piece of kleenex gently dabbed in the corner of their eye , repeat on the top lid, then flush with visine

Thanks for the advice folks, I was curious if any of the "professals" out there might have a trick to keep the seeds out of eyes in frist place? I wonder, do they make doggie googles for the dog to wear in field?... :roll:
I keep a small bottle of eye flush with me now all times.
