Hunting in and around Kalispell

I'm going to be headed to the Kalispell area for the holidays and was wondering if there is anything worth chasing this time of year. Any advice is appreciated. Happy Holidays.

Season is over for mountain grouse but you might find some pheasants on some of the valley wildlife areas. That season is open until Jan 1.
Be wary of the man in the tattered old hunting coat with the bony pointer and the well worn side by side, he'll outshoot you every day.
