Sunday it was a blizzard with 12-15" of snow and winds gusting to 45 mph. Last night it was about 19 degrees below zero. At least our weather keeps the riff-raff away!

Sunday 50+, Monday windchill in the MINUS teens, today 5 inches of snow on it's way...whippe!

Sunday up North runnin dogs in 47 degree weather and rain all night.........today it was 8 degrees when I left my house and I am watching a blizzard out my window!! 4-6" expected in Northern Illinois. Pntrrookie...I was up in your country on Sunday...Campbellsport WI. How bout them Packers!!

Well, here in Chicago area we woke up to 6-8" of snow and still falling. It is supposed to stop before noon, but there is another storm right behind it. The Illinois /Wisconsin border has almost 10" on the ground already. At least the temps are better than the beginning of the week, it's 28 degrees this morning!!!

Played hookie thursday. Went to Rangley, Light snow and snow squalls in the mid twenties 6"to 8" snow on the ground, some crust from the ice storm a few days earlier. No Gloves, sweater and rubber boots. , Two dogs Buster and Mercy. My favorite time to hunt Ruffs. Got there at 10:00 hunted to 2:00. Had six bird flush out. Got one. First bird should have shot but I did not take care of my gun during my last hunt which was rain, saftey was stuck. Falling on my face and back side sore this morning. All in all give me this weather all winter and let there be Ruffs. More snow on the way tonight then again on Sunday.

We are getting about an inch an hour of snow. My parents said they have a snow drift on their garage door taller than their CAR! Geesh. I stayed home with the pooches today as it took me 45 minutes to make it 6 miles this morning. And my work is over 25 miles away. No way in hati am I driving that far in this. Now going for a romp in the truck is fun but only if you don't go all over tarnation! And another storm is heading here on Saturday night! UGH!

I shouldn't have come to work today in NYC because it will be tough getting home. We are starting to get hammered. Let's hope New Jersey Transit Trains have their act together...

Travel safly! It was nasty here until about 1 pm. Now the sun is out and I went and played in the truck! Love 4x4!
