he is my wife's pup and both go everywhere with us and he thinks he is a weim. At our weim club fun days he is one of the best there at water retrives.

*roflmao* That's hilarious. Look forward to reading the write up. I had a briard once that was a great tracker and retriever, but had to wear a rainsuit when in the field (burdocks + briards=hours of miserable grooming).

We finally made it out to our first horseback field trial 2 weekends ago and had a great time. All of the pictures are from Major my weim’s walking derby run he did very well and we placed second. On Sunday we ran in Open Derby and he did very well considering it was the first time I had ever handled him from horseback. Unfortunately we went bird less but it was great exposure for him and me. Then the following weekend I went up to Lubbock for D!ck Wilber’s trial and Major also ran very well but didn’t have a find until about a min after time had expired and then found a covey of 3 on our way back to camp. Both weekends were a lot of fun with great people.

Kory,

Who is the Amateur Gun dog in the picture??

As Major's breeder I am VERY proud of Kory and Major!!! Kory is doing an excellent job of allowing Major to become a very nice dog. Major also has 9 pts. in the show ring with both of his majors. Kory has handled him to all of those points. Thank you, Kory.

Brenda,

Major is a brother from the first litter to the puppy that I asked for the reference of the buyer/handler the other day.
