NE Kansas Get Together for forum members

I have done some talking with folks on the board and there has been talk of having a get together for people on the board in the NE Kansas area. The thought with hosting at my place is that it would be a great central location for folks from KC, Topeka, St Joe, Omaha, Lincoln and Manhattan. I have volunteered my place as a good place to get together. I would like to invite everyone for burgers and beers. I would like to do some training also so plan on brining a dog or six . From what I can gather we need to shoot for a date in late May or early June. Feel free to email of call me for details.

Your more than welcome to come up, heck I dont care if you from washington state! The most interest we have had is in the NE part of the state including MO and NE. If you dont want to/cant come get one of your own started. I know there are quite a few guys on here from that part of the area and you may even draw some from Oklahoma.

I would be up for that. My Dad lives down towards Emporia and would probably come as well. I know there are alot of graduation dates and stuff coming up plus memorial weekend. But I'll throw out the date of May 23rd, if some us want to get together.

I have recieved some good feedback for this event and would like to thank everyone for it. However things would be MUCH easier for me keep track of if everyone, including Big Dave and Nebraska, would please EMAIL me. This will make contacting people easier to coordinate the event. It looks like we will be gunning for the first or second weekend in June. Thanks again!

I want to thank Chris and his family for letting me be apart of this birddog get together. It was a very windy day for working dogs but the sharing of ideas and opinions made it well worth the trip for me.

It was also a pleasure meeting you Dave. Things went GREAT even with the wind and poor scenting conditions! I hope that all enjoyed it, I know I did! I will get some pics posted here in the next few days. I would like to thank everyone that was came and maybe we can make this a yearly deal. Stay tuned............
