blaze orange adjustable collars

Post by mcbosco » Thu Feb 25, 2010 8:21 am

Lupine is finally offering its 100% guaranteed, USA made collars in blaze orange. They last forever and are not bulky like many of the adjustables. They tend to have better size ranges as well.

Small point, but I just had another Tuffy break last week. No guarantee. $10 bucks down the drain and it was pretty new.

I have PermaTack collars. They'll outlive the dog.

those are nice I wonder if they can make them rolled for wirehaired breeds. I have never seen a rolled collar in orange before. the brass is nice to see.

I like the rubber coated nylon collars similar to what the ecollars come with. I had a problem with my dogs chewing each other's collars off till I bought these. The color seems to fade over time but the collars stay just like new. I got mine from LCS for around 2 or 3 bucks a piece.

I was going to order one of the hi-viz orange. Wondering if you had one and if it fades or not.

They do not fade. Just wash them occasionally.

Like Greg said they do not fade, you can wash them & polish the brass to make them look like new if that's what you want.I'm a fan of the permatak products. They will pretty much last for ever unless your dog chews them up. :D

Can permatak attach a ID plate to the collar?

I have checkcords from permatak. Great product and great people to deal with.

Yes, they will attach a nameplate.

Kidder, MO is correct, but the contact is a lady named "Mary". She's very easy to work with.

Recieved the Hi-Viz blaze orange collar this weekend. First thing out of my mouth after opening the package was "WOW" this is by far the most well built collar I have ever bought. Talked to Mary on the phone before purchase and informed her I have a "heavy pulling" dog she used heavy duty D rings and O ring to allow collar to roll. I can definately see this collar out-living the dog. I actually overpaid on accident and she refunded the money before I even had a chance to get ahold of her. Very pleased, well worth the money thanks Greg I let her know where I heard about it from.

Good deal.

Spread the word about their product. Lee and Mary are good Christian folks and will go to overtime for every single customer.

I"m sitting here on the love seat with my V-dog, Nav. He's wearing his PermaTack collar. It's as nice as the day we bought it five years ago. Can't beat them.

The Permatack people live close to me and they and their products are first rate. They have donated leads, checkcords and collars to our Pheasants Forever banquet the last several years also.
