new Llew
hi all. I thought I'd introduce myself and my pup at the same time. Kimber is 13 week old tri-color llewellin from a breeder in Kentucky. Finally got her exposed to birds (pen raised quail) for the first time yesterday. It was a pretty windy day and she practically stepped on the quail before figuring out what she was smelling. The bird took to wing right in front of her face and she did a quick retreat. But within 10 minutes she was on another one and did a nice natural retrieve. (Next outting we'll be working on pointing and not catching).

Thanks, everyone.
Kimber came from Twin Cedars Kennel in Wingo, KY. I can't say enough about the operation that Randy Johnson has going on there. I would highly recommend you contact him if you're looking for a llewellin. He also has EP and Britts with impressive pedigrees.
