My new pup is being flown in tonight,

Here is a pic. I would like to thank Justin for this pup. We will soon know how he will do in the field.
Do they take the pup out of the crate at any time for any reason?

Thanks, I just called delta and confirmed he was all checked in. ow I will wait 6 hours and pick him up. The airport is right across from Carter Lake a huge park and lake so I will let him out there to burn off some energy and give him a bath with water and shampoo I am bringing so he is clean when I pop him home. He is a surprise for my son.

Mark,
I doubt a pup coming out of the crate in a strange place with strange people will feel much like burning energy. The pup will be tired and may be somewhat frightened. Please take it easy with it and I would skip the bath unless you just have to. A day or two after you get it home and acclimated will be soon enough to startwith the new experiences.

It's not how many breaths you have taken but how many times it has been taken away!
Has anyone noticed common sense isn't very common anymore.

Markj,
My pups will be touching down in about 45 min. I have my four socializers (my girls) ready to load up at any time. My last pup jumped out of the crate as soon as I opened the door. Belle is a bit different though.
I would also like to thank Justin for the time, thought, and chance he took putting this litter on the ground. I have been looking for a cross like this for along time. I think these pups will turnout to be just what he was hoping for.

No, I have 4 GSPs.Do you have a dog at home already
I got him at 10:00pm or so, took him across the way to Carter Park and lake, let him out of the crate, he was a little shaky at first, did his stuff the crate was completly dry so he went for about 5 min it seemed. We then went home, no bath needed as he didnt mess himself. He ate good and went to sleep. He was up at 5:30 or so when I went out to feed my cows. He spent the weekend following me around exploring the place. He stays close and his markings make him a shadow in tall grass.
I put some pics up on the pup page and will link them here.
I got a pup last year from 2000 NAFC FC Dixielands Bustin Loose bell and I can say she was a fireball right off the bat, she is very independant, likes to run flat out. Hunts birds like no other, this pup will complement her well.
Here are two. He is so cute.

I really like the lines here, and the black color really gets my wife. I didnt realize he was a black until I already picked him and to me it isnt a big thing. He is only disqualified from show ring he can run FT stuff. He should hunt anything I want to hunt. I really like his markings and coat.
Thanks for the new pic I added it to the dir for Pevo on my flash.
Called him
Ridge-Point Two Hundred Proof Pevo.
Can you guess what it means?
He has taken to life on our farm right nice thank you, he likes the steer grain too, he follows me around and when I take a bucket to the cows he gets his first, crunch crunch.
He plays with my other dogs as if he was there all along and is as big as they. He has a lot of drive and a lot of heart. He also snuggles real good too
He is getting along fine with my cats too.
