Back from The Adirondack's and Kona had a ball

Post by jcbuttry8 » Wed Jul 13, 2011 7:30 pm

Just thought I'd share some pics. She was a great little dog on vacation. My wife wasn't happy with it but heck she never is. We were there for a week in a cabin off the lake. She got a little to curious at times and wandered off to the neighbors so she saw the e collar a few times but nothing the tone and 1 setting didn't cure. She had other dogs to play with and they were very good. She loved the walks and loved the boat and the dock. Hope you enjoy.

We went for a big walk and then had some down time after.

We spent alot of time at the dock and on the boat pulling the kids on the tube. She sucks at baby sitting.

At the end of the night we always saved time for some daddy doggy bonding time. She really has a miserable life. I really should find some place better for her to spend her time.

Listen tommy you can't have a great trip in mountains without a good birddog, great beer, lots of meat to eat and a boat to fish from. And the family was nice too.

Thanks Ruth. She is coming along fine. Keep your head up. Everything will work just fine for you and Jersey.

Thanks. She is very well colored. I think once she gets darker she will be a great looking dog. Couldn't have asked for a better dog. Tommyboy sent a great pup. She is very level headed and takes to scolding well. Haven't found anything yet that bothers her to long. She seems to role with the punches pretty easy. I try to get her out 2 to 3 times aweek. She is now up to 200 yards and gaining more confidence everytime we go out. She now stands at the front door and looks at me and howls. She loves the field. I hope try her with some trials later this fall.

She's real good at playing hard. She's no strangers to some sleep. She can generally be found in the dirty close basket in the laundry room. She's just like another kid in my house. Always better when they are asleep.

Joe.

It's one of Tabasco's sisters Jess. :D

How is Tabasco by the way. I would love to see some pics of him.

I know Joe would too. Tabasco was going to be his before he opted for a female instead of a male.

I'll see about getting some tonight for ya. He just "Gradutated" to a nice 3/4" Leather collar, so he's almost a big boy now.

Tommy,

Had Tabasco out this evening. Got some pics around the yard, nothing spectacular... I tried to get him in a nice pointing pose, but he will have none of it.

Great pics. He is huge compared to my female, Bama, his sister. He just needs to get that tail up. He looks good and healthy.

Joe I told you I would get some pics posted of my 2 pups and I got out in the yard today in the 106 degree heat to get you some pics of all the dogs. Too hot to get them out and run them, have to wait till after the first week of August to get some birds so all you get is some yard pics. They are all dirty from getting in the kiddie pool and then rolling in the dirt
