I'm stuck in Chicago for 2 weeks for work

Missing my dogs wanting to see some pics of everyone Else's dogs doing what they do best please show them to me !

well, these aren't my dogs but i hang out with them every weekend. this was from a few days ago. there was food going in and out of that door.

I found that dog in the pound, with a load of bird shot in her side. So gunshy that she wouldnt come near a loud noise. Took about 8 months of coaxing her along to get her back to feeling safe again. After a few grouse hunts and seeing the birds fall after the shot, she never looked back!

That particular hunt was on the Snake River and that is just my limit. There was another guy with me that had the same type of mixed bag. We picked up the rogue chukars high on the canyon walls and the huns and quail down on the banks or the river.

Delilah, (the dog) was the happiest I have ever seen her. She knew she was on fire! That was probably one of the best hunts we have had to together.
That pic was back in 2006 or 2007.

So I jokingly call her my rescue dog even though she didn't come from a rescue group just a drunk hillbilly she bought her from for the price of case of beer.

Nothing fancy about her but I've shot hundreds of birds over her and she has probably taught me more about bird hunting then I ever taught her so I can't complain, except for the fact she's a pillow hog.
