Summer time and the living is easy

Post by Chukar12 » Wed Jul 27, 2011 11:41 am

Well, we are trying to enjoy some dogs around here. Amber and her puppy Patch went up the mountain with me both days last weekend and we trained where it is cooler. Amber was her old self, she is just turning 5 and I was tuning up her retrieve on some pigeons…you may notice her point isn’t real intense on pigeons…
Now Patch, is her puppy by my dog Sonny…we have high hopes for him. He is going to get his JH through MH, all those UT things, break Buddy’s NSTRA record, win several Nat Gun Dog and AA Championships, run at Ames when he is 6, be the to Dakotas pheasant dog, a PA companion grouse dog, he will do some agility and obedience work and will retire after helping the blind, bomb sniffing and drug sniffing. We are currently in consultation with him on how to make Boehner’s bill work…I know you will all like him and this will be a harmonious thread because there is something for everyone.
Patch on point

I only counted one collar on a couple pics, I thought you pointer people had a three collar minimum just to get them out of the box. Very nice looking pup.

All I can I can come up with for LVC is Lebanon Valley College and Lutheran Volunteer Corps, and whil I cannot say it with the utmost certainty I expect neither of them care for my representation...help a brother out...LVC?

The Sierras are fantastic. I love that part of the state, but it has been a while since I have been up that way.
It has been amazingly cool in the southland this summer, even inland, probably not fair to mention on the board.
