I'll see if I have some good ones tomorrow. It was so bright and sunny you couldn't see through the camera what youwere getting. We had 4 dogs to work and think we made progress with each of them. Got back here to the house, grilled a new type all beef wiener and hamburgers, sat in the shade and told lies, parcelled out 86 pigeons and sent thm home with whoever wanted some, and sent Jonesy on his way to his Dad's birthday party. Sure wish more would show up as both days have been excellent opportunities to see puppy mistakes and how to correct them.

Thanks to all who came. Hope you all went home smarter.

It's not how many breaths you have taken but how many times it has been taken away!

Has anyone noticed common sense isn't very common anymore.

I am feeling a little let down. Work is not nearly as much fun. :x Oh well, maybe next time.

Wish I could have made it! Would not have had my dog but still wanted to watch and learn! Time to get a day off to go visit Dex at the Stonehouse Ranch!

Wish we could have made it, although I don't miss working dogs in this heat. Would have been far superior to attending Clint's 20 year class reunion. Hope everyone had a good time and got some training tips to take home.

It was a blast just like usual. Heat did not help out at all but we made do with what we had. Pat I am glad we were able to get your dog liking birds. I know it was just a matter of time. Hopefully this year will be good to our pups.

Joe - We'll hook up some weekend to do some more training. Might need to crash at your place though. Can always put a tent up in your yard.
Pat - Just let me know what weekend you want to come up and scout and we'll make it happen.
Ezzy - We'll talk about that weekend deal, got some ideas. Let me know when your ready to go hunting and I'll come down.
Jonesy - I'll be PMing you with questions on what to do before she comes to you for work.
Cory - Well theres not much to say to you, I talk to you all the time :-)

Headed over to my breeders house Sunday. We had some fun. He was thoroughly impressed with Molly. We were able to get her swimming in 15 mins. and then she would retrieve anything that we threw out and brought it right to our feet. I was super proud of her. Then we put out 4 launchers. She pointed every single one with the last to being super staunch on her point. Then after we let her go after the last bird flew off we went to pick up the launcher and looked up and she was on point again. We were wondering what the heck she was pointing as we did not have anymore birds out and knew there were no wild ones, so we headed over and Alan(my breeder) steadied her and got out in front of her and found a couple feathers and half a wing. A hawk must have gotten a bird sometime the night before or so. The funny thing is Molly was a good 5 feet away and could not see them. Now thats a good nose. I was gitty as a little kid getting presents at christmas. We walked out of there with a big smile on my breeders face and me felling like a father of future champion. No good pictures on my end sorry.

Jesse
