Re: quail egg's
I have had great hatches and few broken eggs from suddenflushgamebirds.com. ebay sellers has been really hit and miss with mediocre hatches at best. I have another new supplier i am going to try this year. But as far as past experience sudden flush is the one i would use again.

Re: quail egg's
I usually buy day old but the past two yrs have had no luck finding anyone who would ship to me here in upsate NY. Perhaps the economy is hard on the breeders. A guy who raises gamebirds close to where I live has informed me he will have quail for me this year. I have also heard recently about the place Wadley's in Georgia as the place to get quail eggs.

Re: quail egg's
I have done egg's if you get local eggs the success rate is much higher then ordered and shipped eggs. Ill pm you info tonight. Also depends on how many eggs you plan to hatch 50 eggs is alot of work unless you have a good incubator with auto Turner. If you don't by the time you buy eggs and all the equipment its cheaper to get day holds.

DOnF-
There is also no guarantee of day olds success rate either. As soon as people leave my place the guarantee is gone. I only guarantee that I will sell you healthy live birds. As a game bird breeder I cannot put a guarantee on the birds or eggs after they leave my place. For all I know someone could stick the birds in the freezer when they get home (I have heard of stranger things). I have bought some bad eggs in the past and have NEVER asked for anything in return but I did inform the person that their eggs were bad. I average a 94% hatch rate so its pretty easy to tell when I get a bad batch.
