Q for thoses that keep pigeons, DIY pigeon bobs

OK I am cheap I really dont want to spend money on something that I could make with scrape or little cash. I have seen bobs made out of scrapped aluminum arrows(I don't think I have enough), but are there other options.

I've seen bobs made out of pvc tubing, t's and then the down sections.

Or if you could devise spacers, to give some room between pvc bobs, you could just drill through the pvc and put a metal rod through it.

Refrigerater grate's work well, just remove every other one.

Threaded rod, matching nut's, alminum tent stakes and steel epoxy. Simple!

I just use a solid door and open it 3 inches at the bottom hinged at the top,the birds drop in but cant get out,opens all the way up too for free to roam mode.

PVC works if you put a tee on the top of the 1/2 pipe cut to the lehgth you want. The tee works as the divider as well as the place to run a dowel to hold them;

I ended up with the ptec/plastic version, though I might end up with a drop though version once I have no more prisoner birds.

Some things are worth paying for... then again I built my loft without any power tools other than a low voltage drill... The door was an easy purchase from gundogsupply, though I built my own varmit door

If I was south of the border I would have too but cross border shipping and brokerage is point less on a simple item, lots of time it's worth it but his time it just was not. 10 bucks in t's and scrap wood.
