Places to Camp in Western MN

Post by DogNewbie » Wed Oct 17, 2012 3:30 pm

Question for the MN folks. I'm thinking of heading out to western MN this weekend for some pheasant hunting and would like to camp over night somewhere fairly cheap. Any recommendations? I'm thinking Marshall or Granite Fall area. Thanks for the help!

I understand people definition of cheap very, but I will put this out there because many people don't know about them, essentially a small cabin in a state park for $45 a night, about 50yds from shower/bathroom facilities. http://www.dnr.state.mn.us/state_parks/ ... cabin.html

The Arrow motel in Pipestone is $60 for a double, tax included.
